Sofija Todorović
Sofija Todorović is the Director of YIHR Serbia. She is an award-winning human rights activist and educator with extensive expertise in the fields of human rights, transitional justice, and conflict transformation. Having graduated from the Faculty of Law in Belgrade, she became an IVLP alumna in 2023 – the U.S. Department of State’s flagship professional exchange programme. Sofija completed the Peace and Conflict Summer Programme in 2017, organised by the Rochester Institute of Technology, Kosovo. She was awarded the ‘Ledolomac’ Human Rights Prize by Serbia’s Liberal Democratic Party in 2018, and received the Feminist Achievement Award in 2019 from BeFem, a Serbian feminist cultural centre. Sofija is an author of many publications on the topic of reconciliation and transformative justice and she writes for many respectable regional and global media outlets.
