Sebastien Lai

Sebastien Lai is the son of the pro-democracy media entrepreneur and journalist, Jimmy Lai, a 77 year old British citizen who has been unlawfully detained in Hong Kong since 2020. Sebastien Lai studied in Hong Kong and now lives in London, UK.

From his home in the UK, Sebastien Lai leads the international #FreeJimmyLai campaign. Sebastien has testified in support of his father all over the world, advocating before Parliaments, at the UN and in the media for Jimmy Lai’s immediate and unconditional release, before it is too late.
