Óscar Schlenker

Journalist and Deutsche Welle’s correspondent in Caracas for over 15 years, reporting on politics, human rights, and regional conflicts. He has worked as a Vatican correspondent, a UN media advisor in Bonn, and holds a Master’s in International Media Studies from DW Akademie. Schlenker is also the founder of Alternos Foundation, an organization supporting Indigenous communities in Venezuela.
